John Fergus founded KC's Contracting and Custom Torchworks Inc., which has been in operation since 1992. With experience and tickets in welding, carpentry, roofing, fabricating, plumbing, and painting, John repeatedly proved himself in business and construction. Whether he was on the tools, making sales, or operating the business, he was a true man of morales and motivation.
In 2008, John’s son-in-law, Andrew Dumontet, was asked to join the team. With Andrew’s extensive experience in carpentry, timber framing, and general construction, Andrew was honoured to be part of the family business, and eager to learn about roofing. After training alongside the best roofers in the Okanagan, Andrew became proficient in installations, sales, and business, and upholds very high standards and quality workmanship.
Today, KC’s Contracting & Custom Torchworks is a well rounded Contracting company with a number of employees, all taught by John and Andrew to be hard-working team players, focused on quality and longevity.
